Air Fryer Onion Rings

Cut onion into 1/2 inch thick slices and separate to get rings. Remove membrane from onion rings and set aside.

For breading, add panko into a bowl with salt, paprika, and garlic powder.

In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup flour, and pepper to create batter.

Dip each onion ring into the wet batter and coat with the panko mixture. Repeat for all onion rings.

In your air fryer tray, spray olive oil and place onions on the tray, making sure they aren’t overlapping. Spray the top with additional olive oil.

Air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes. Increase to 400°F for about 30 seconds at the end to finish them off.

Add to a plate, sprinkle flaky sea salt on top, and enjoy with sauce mayo and lemon.
